The latest... My hot glue skills need some serious work. Seriously. Those lace curtains hide a world of mess.

The dryer door hits me in the head. I remember that from the last one of these. This time, however, I nipped that in the bud. I taped magnets to hold it in place until I can come up with a real solutions. (Real may well be gluing the magnets in place and making them art work... we'll see!)

Oh and my new dryer has no light in it.... Because it does not need one! It's has a giant dryer mouth with no dark recesses. I'm thrilled. Changing the bulb in the dryer always drove me nuts.

I have the second episode of the British Sewing Bee to watch. I'm going to do that now.

I haven't seen the first episode of the new Sewing Bee yet, but I'm so glad it's back! I love watching the contestants doing horrific things like trying to sew chiffon and being thankful it's not me. I've also missed Patrick (both hot *and* adorable) and Esme and her delightfully quirky dress sense.

Can that be my bedroom? But with the washer and the dryer? And the magnets. Okay! :D

I don't think I've ever had a dryer that had a light bulb in it. Huh. That's one less thing to worry about!

The wee bedroom is gorgeous.

I've decided that I really like Joe Lycett on Sewing Bee.

That’s so pretty! That is a lot of lace.
I like the little skylight. Yeah. I’d take a skylight like that in my real bedroom any day.

If the dryer door is swinging open it sounds like the dryer is not sitting level on the floor. It is a pain in the ass to do this, but you may be able to adjust the screw-feet on the washer/dryer. It sounds like the front feet need to be raised. If the front feet are inaccessible or already fully extended, you may be able to slip a shim under the feet to raise them a little.

I love the tiny room! There is so much detail to look at!

You're welcome! I hope that solves the problem!
:-)

If you need some leverage to help with this, try slipping a broom handle under the front of the machine.

Good Luck!
