The Mom Report

Polly called from the emergency room at the hospital. She said Mom made the choice to go there after a really long hard night. She said she nearly lost her on the way but once there and hooked up to air, she was cracking wise with the staff.

I have a lot of work to do today. Not the good kind but it's good and billable and will keep me distracted.

What a lovely offer. Thank you but I'm really finer than you might think. Now that I know she's in the hospital with someone right there at all times to make sure she's comfortable and has what she wants, I'm ok. But, thank you.
