I do not understand turtleneck short sleeved sweaters. Or really short sleeved sweaters at all. I do not understand shirts with cutout shoulders and long sleeves. I totally don't get puffy jackets and shorts. It's like half of you need warmth and the other half is too hot.

When I went out to do my errand today I caught the new name going on the baseball park.

Very cool.

And when I got back from my errand, I took my walk and I have proof.

I grabbed this shot for posterity. That giant two tiered road is the viaduct that is soon to be demolished. How would you like to be working in that office while some machine is eating the concrete on the other side of your glass window? Yikes.

It's sure going to look different when that sucker is gone. I need to remember to go back and replicate this shot.

And while I'm splashing pix... Here are my new favorite cookies. They are dangerously delicious.

I don't get sleeveless puffy jackets or sleeveless fleece things. If my torso needs to be warm, so do my arms.

See I am on team puffy sleeveless vest. I hate how restricted I feel mobility wise when I wear a big heavy bulky winter coat. If it's not "your face is going to freeze off" cold outside I love the freedom of wearing a good hoodie and a thick vest. I do not feel like the kid in his snowsuit in A Christmas Story then.

This only works for errands and other things like that. It does not work for dog walking or anything of that nature so I do have an appropriate coat, too.

Oh I'm a vest girl all the way. If it's chilly but not too cold (for me, usually above freezing, as long as it's sunny) I still need my core to be warm but I don't need a full coat all the time.

I have just recently decided that I like short sleeved sweaters. Not in the Winter, but in the Spring and Fall, when I want sun on my arms, but it's a little bit chilly... I like the way the sweaters are a little less form-fitting than my normal t-shirts, and look a little bit dressier than a t-shirt...

I also have a couple of shirts with cut-out shoulders that I love - they don't have long sleeves, one has short sleeves, and one has 3/4 length sleeves. I like them because you can wear them out to things where you'd normally feel like you had to wear a tank top, like bars/clubs, but they are a bit less revealing/warmer.

But I also love mock turtleneck sleeveless shirts...I feel like they're very flattering on me for some reason. I have good arms and look good with something on my neck? I don't know. LOL. But I don't think they're weird...at least not any weirder than covering up your arms but not your neck, anyway. LOL.

And I agree with the person who mentioned the cold-shoulder shirts being good for getting a little more coverage in situations where people often wear more revealing clothes.

I agree with you about the clothing. I do not understand it either.

SO many people are wearing the long sleeve shirts with cut outs in the shoulders!!!   I don't understand.

I totally agree about the clothing. Especially the "cold shoulder" thing. They look ridiculous to me.

I don't like the shirts with the shoulders cut out either. Another thing I don't get is vest jackets, like why would it be cold enough to wear a jacket but not cold enough to keep your arms warm?

I mentioned to someone else who posted a picture of that same viaduct that it is the same design as the one that collapsed in SF during the 1989 earthquake.

There is a giant ugly bridge (https://goo.gl/maps/5thfuC7D7p32) two blocks behind my work that has office buildings similarly close to it. I've had some bad workplaces but I would loathe having that as my only view. At least the Seattle counterparts are about to get a view back!
