4 and a half hour nap

susandennisNot me. The cats. I left here at 11 and walked for 20 minutes - I just couldn't do the last 10. And when I got home they were asleep and they stayed asleep until just now - 3:30. I got so much done!!
I dragged out my big box of cables and sorted them all and put likes together in zipper bags. I need to really gift Goodwill with a bunch of them but, for now, they all fit nicely in their labeled bags.
Then I worked on my quilt and got it ready for one last row of stitching around the perimeter and it will be done.
I finished the laundry and got it folded and put away without help. It's been lovely... but lonely... so I'm glad they are awake. I'm all done with the stuff they make difficult anyway. Perfect timing.

Date: 2019-08-25 05:15 pm (UTC)Isn't it the weirdest thing how it's only fun for about 5 minutes to get quickly through chores while our little masters sleep, and then it is, indeed, lonely? Mine can sleep through a hurricane if they set their minds to it, but the moment I start talking their ears start swiveling like little antennas. lol It's only the three of us and I'm never on the phone so they know that when they hear my voice it's only meant for them.
