It's now raining notaries!!! Remember The Great Notary Hunt of last week? Well, Torry just told me that she's sending me yet another document that needs my notarized signature. ARUGH. There's lawyer who has an office on the street level of this building. I dropped him an email and asked him if he new of a handy nearby notary...

Then I went to take something out to the mailbox and on a whim, when I came back, I stopped into the building manager's office and asked his assistant if he had ever heard anyone around here admit to being a notary or knew of anyone and he said "Micah is... here's his seal right here! but he's out sick today..."

I got back, and of course, I had a note from the lawyer... "I'm a notary. Be glad to help. Come on down."

Wild. Just wild. Of course, what I need to sign won't be here until Monday but I will be so ready.

I've thought about going through the motions to become a notary myself. Of course the down side to that is you can't notarize your own documents...
