I enjoyed my evening off from the computer frustrations.  I need to come up with a plan of attack this morning.  I need to make a list of all the tools I need and a plan for what goes on in what order with manual setting of restore points along the way.

Until I can get it set up properly, I cannot do any billable work so at least I'm motivated.  I may have to tell Challenging Guy he's going to have to wait longer.  I'm pretty sure his deadline is based on nothing so it won't be a big deal.  If it were anyone else, I would worry about it but not him. Fortunately he's the only job looming right now.

There's a baseball game on TV this afternoon.  Nice.

I did send a note to Elizabeth that I'd better bail out of our Monday morning coffee date.  I think I need to gather up all the spare minutes I can find just in case.  Sheri and installers will be in and out of here all week so I won't have uninterrupted time anyway.

I did pop out yesterday and got new pots.  I found a nice set of 3 pots with lids and 2 frying pans (and 3 utensils) on sale for $40. They are nice and heavy and have flat bottoms.  I think they will work fine.

The new oven has WAY more storage than the old one.  But the real magic is the cooktop.  Last night I sauteed some mushrooms.  It was magical to put a pat of butter into the middle of the pan and have it stay there.  My old stove - with those wonderful electric coils - necessitated cooking on the slant.  No amount of futzing with the prongs to level them out ever worked.  So to have everything in the pan stay where I put it was pretty fun.  I may try fried eggs this morning.

I dug out the instructions for the microwave last night - it bakes and it microwaves.   Should be interesting.  Looks like I might be able to put away one of my toaster ovens.

And someone here needs to do some laundry.

Ok, I think it's time to get started on this day...

I have had micro-convection ovens in two motorhomes. They work fairly well. I like that they serve two purposes. Even more important in a motorhome where limited is the only space. I hardly use the oven in my house. I think the last time was around Christmas, so it is pretty wasted space for me.
