So, he threw up at 9:30 this morning - the only time so far.

He finally ate something at 2:30 - kibble.

He's bright and alert. He made it clear that any more yarn winding just now was ridiculous to attempt. I sat down and he got on the cat tree to play with the wire toy which he has been doing now for 10 minutes.

Oh, now he's down and gone to find The Smalls. He's not going back to nap.

I'm hopeful that maybe we've dodged a bullet here. Maybe.

Loveable annoying assholes.
Thinking good thoughts for an epic poop and no problems.

I once dogsat a dog who got into my backpack and ate a whole chocolate bar. Though typically fatal, he turned out ok, no problems, no puking , no vet visit nothing. May this pass as easily.

That's the part I'm worried about as well! After his welfare, obvs. Thanks for all the updates - I'm following along obsessively.

This feels like one of those situations where as gross as it is, you're thankful to see poop or productive puke. Biggie, the field trips were miserable and your haircut is finally starting to grow in! No more noodles!

I thought it was only dogs that ate strange things and then threw them up in a public display.

I lost yesterday somehow. In a way, I'm glad I missed this entry because I at least have the certainty that all is well (from your later posts - it's the one advantage of working chronologically in reverse while getting 'caught up'.)
