Right now, I am downloading Arlo Guthrie's Thanksgiving anthem onto my swim music player. Tomorrow's swim will be bountiful. Today's was good. The issues with murky water from earlier in the week are all fixed and the other swimmers today were all regulars.

The gym is only open from 8-noon tomorrow. In past years, the gym has been packed but not the pool. It will be interesting to see how it shakes out tomorrow.

It's another quiet day here. I did end up walking over to Meg's for lunch. Meg's is a cute place not far from here that I want to like so much. But I just don't. They sell burgers with a sauce on them that I just don't care for and do not allow orders sans sauce. Their usually good but too salty fries, yesterday were soggy and too salty. So... nope. Oh well. I tried... again...

Lunch today will be chicken soup from the freezer. It's thawing right now.

The cats seem to be leveling out in size and weight now. They have stopped growing out of their collars so now, instead of slap dashing off new collars when the old ones get too small, I'm going to be taking my time and making them correctly in hopes they stay nice longer.



I made The Smalls a new one yesterday. Biggie's is still in ok shape so I may wait a bit on his new one. Mainly I just need the bells on them. Oh, and it's nice to have a way to tell them apart in flash. I can tell them apart when they land on me or often by personality but when they are racing through the room and/or switching personalities, it's difficult without the collars.

We've settled into feeding I think. They could easily get by with two feedings a day. They'd be cranky but not fatally. I spoon half into one dish and half into another. The Smalls digs in immediately. Biggie waits until he's also gotten his tiny pile o' kibble. They are so funny with their routines.

Just now, The Smalls is asleep on the couch next to me and Biggie's perched in the cat tree basket watching he world outside... as usual.

And, as usual, I need to get dressed and start this day. Even a low key day needs more than my swim robe!

We're working from home today. I'm sitting at the kitchen table which is now the defacto cat feeding table. That means that its an all you can eat buffet today if you ask them

Habit? Trying not to buy stuff on Amazon in an effort to reduce my spending overall.
Checking Amazon, they don't carry the beef topper the dogs been eating. though she's unfussy enough that I don't think it's a big deal.

gotcha and two good reasons. i keep wondering why go with chewy and not finding a good reason so always on the lookout :)

that's obnoxious that they won't let you get the burgers without their dumb sauce. I have a problem with way too many delis and burger places dumping a load of mayo on things, I hate mayo and if I didn't order it they shouldn't put it on there. Sometimes if I say no mayo they ignore me. rrgghh
