The electrician was here from 7 until 1 but he was very nice AND the results are so worth it. The fish wall is now brilliant with light - the fish nearly look like they are swimming!! It's actually too much light. He suggested a rheostat but didn't have one with him so he offered to drop back by one day next week and pop it on for me gratis and I said 'fab'. But, really, it's just wonderful. I'm so tickled.
The living room wall is all mudded up and ready for priming. The terrace ceiling is all mudded up and primed and ready for texturing. We are making progress.
Plus while all this was going on, I was actually able to get in about 8 solid hours of work!
I got very official looking papers today for proof that Mom was cremated. Interestingly, we never got these certificates for Daddy... hmmmm
I also got a nice card from Mom's doctor's office. I need to write to them. I will.
I really need to do about another hour of work but I think I'm going to save it for tomorrow. I think I'm going to think about what's for dinner, maybe do a hand or two of Spider Solitaire and maybe just write the letter to the doctor's office.
