Cosmic Crisp

Ok, I sliced one up and tried it.

It's way more tart than I like. (I like a really sweet apple.) It's very juicy. It's crisp.

I put slices in the plastic bag in the fridge. Will monitor for how well they fare.

I don't think it's going to be my favorite. But, I do have some carmel dip and I will try it with that for dessert tonight.

Interesting you found it tart, as it's considered a high-sugar apple. Perhaps it also has a high acidity level. I was surprised to find watermelon was low in sugar given how sweet it tastes, but that's apparently due to low acidity.

How's the skin? We like Fujis because the skin isn't so tough.

i'm not a big skin person (as in, don't care, don't pay attention) but it seems to me fairly fuji-like
