Well, I think even with careful planning, I fucked myself over on the drugs deal. My intent was to have the drugs appear as a claim on January 1 so that the price, while higher, would clear the deductible. Instead, it looks like the insurance claim goes by prescription fill date which is in 2019, not the pay date. Guess I'll find out for sure Thursday when I go get them. Expensive lesson learned. Ugh.

I spent most of today with my finances. Setting up a massively complicated spreadsheet created by Tiller Money. It downloaded 12 weeks of transactions which had to be categorized and other set up stuff. But it's now done and it's going to really scratch my anal retentive itch over my finances.

I hope the prescriptions work out, what a hassle. I'm working on a spreadsheet for my own finances, I need to keep better track.

I see the boys are keeping a close eye on you. lol

You have nothing to lose (except as much time as you're willing to spend) pushing back on the insurance company a bit. But of course you don't have to; 'lesson learned' is a perfectly okay response.

Please consider canceling the prescription and then re-ordering it. I suspect the pharmacy won't take issue with that. If you do it in person, they may be able to process it quickly. (ETA: but as I am late in reading/commenting this may be a useless suggestion!)
