If I get this virus, I'm sure it will kill me. My lungs are just too shot to fight. But, most of the time, I think my chances for not getting it are pretty good. I don't go anywhere, I am in physical contact with very few people. For all but my lungs, my immune system has held up pretty well.

So I spend most of my time not worrying about it. And then I hit up google for how long it takes to die once you get the virus. (not too long, apparently) They have confirmed that a staff worker at the stadium across the street has it and another worker at the county building where the metro ticket office is (2 blocks from here). Someone in this building will get it and that will be how I do.

But, hey, ya gotta die of something, right? And my worrying about it is not going to change a thing except my own state of mind which does not even need changing.

And now the Russians and the Saudis are fighting over oil and, in the process, decimating my income source. Well, hopefully, I'll die of this virus soon instead of some long, drawn out, disease that will cost all my resources.

The gym was very empty this morning. The pool even more so. And there was very little traffic on the road. I wonder how much of that is due to its being the first Monday after the time change and how much of that is a bunch o' peops working from home so sleeping in.

Today's project here is my bowling shirt. It's coming along really well. My plan is to finish it as it is now and then figure out tweaks and fix the pattern. This is going to be a great summer shirt. Also, my machine can sew on buttons but I've never tried it. I think I'll give it a go today. Oh and finish up the house video project.

I think The Smalls is having a bit of a down spell. He's eating ok but has not seemed so peppy for the past day or two. Tomorrow he and Biggie turn 1. We were going to have a big party but had to cancel on account of the virus.

It's pretty chilly in here (the living room), I think I'll get started on my sewing in the not as chilly sewing room!

I've thought about you with this thing. The kitties need you!
I'm a paranoid type so I'd be a shut-in till it passed or the vaccine was invented. It's a matter of time?
You have a treadmill now, so there's that. :0
I'm pretty reclusive as it goes. I'm going to live it up a bit before it closes in, but then -- canned food here we come (just like Smalls)! :)
Everything is possible until it is actual, in any case.

It seems the ones being hardest hit are aged and have other serious medical issues. My lungs are pretty well Swiss cheese, but as you say, you have to die of something eventually, although I firmly believe we will be okay. Not taking any chances, but not locking ourselves away either.

Please cease attempting to die of this virus! From what I've read it might be quickish, but it's still a pretty sucky death. Also, your kitties need you and there are many people including me who would distinctly prefer it if you were still around. Although you think you are, you are way not old, and have many sewing projects and kitty shenanigans to experience yet.

Good! Thank you! I'm in the middle of writing a eulogy and it's concentrated my mind wonderfully on how much I don't want to lose any more friends.
