In the governor's press conference this morning, the county health officer rattled off a list of the kinds of places that will be shuttered until at least March 31 and in the middle of that list was 'fitness and health clubs'!

I knew it was too good to last.

Fitness clubs, gyms, pools, bowling alleys, movie theaters will close as of the end of business today.

The governor & the chief physician of the state department of health are strongly urging people 65 & older to stay home, completely.

The closures are mandated by executive order. The stay at home, so far, can’t be legally mandated.

My YMCA shut down yesterday morning to at least March 27. I'm hoping the weather will warm up just a bit so I can bike but if not, I'll walk miles and miles out on the road.
