How really thoughtful...

So yesterday, my neighbor, Deborah, asked if I needed anything to let her know. Just now, there was a knock at my door and when I opened it there she was. "I'm on the way to the store, do you need anything?"

How nice is that??? I mean really. There actually was on thing but I couldn't think of it. "Well, if it comes to you, just send me a text." We swapped texts and she said "Happy to do it. We single ladies need to stick together."

I'm just knocked out by the kindness of really a stranger.

I did need paper towels. I am down to my last roll. But, I figured I could live without them. Not a big deal. But then, an hour ago, I found a whole new roll in the back of the cupboard under the sink! So I'm set.

I have not been on the treadmill except for one 5 minute burst. I've thought about it but so far haven't done much else about it. Besides the cats are enjoying their naps and it would be rude of me to interrupt them. They would for sure wake up to see what was happening.

I was going to make a couple of pillow cases for my bed but I didn't get to that either. Well, it's not like there isn't plenty of time in coming days, that's for sure.

I'm torn between wanting to support local businesses and so order dinner delivered and having tons of food on hand that I really should eat! I think I'm going to eat from my own fridge tonight and maybe order tomorrow night.

He really does not seem to mind his color at all or even try to get around it.

I made some reusable paper towel alternatives, old bath towels cut up and backed with fabric. I throw them in the wash. Can’t use them for everything but it has reduced my kitchen paper towel consumption
