So... turns out I learned a couple of things... The instructions said to put vaseline all around your hairline. There were no instructions on how to get that shit off. ugh.

Turns out, also, dying your hair seems to highlight the fact that you have not been to a professional stylist in more than a year. And, not in a good way.

But, done. And now I'm ready. I have reason to believe that the cats are planning a surprise birthday party for me tomorrow. I'm trying to figure out what to wear to go with green hair. Typical 71st birthday problems, right?

I once saw a touring production of play starring Katherine Hepburn. She had green hair for the entire second act. When her family asked her why she had dyed her hair green, she replied (in her inimitable voice), "I'm so tired of all of the earthly colors."

I love it! The green really brings out your eyes. Would the pool turn it a funny colour, or is it a temporary dye which would come off?

I cannot imagine the pool chemicals will treat it kindly, but more importantly, I can't believe the dye would be good for the pool. either way, it's better to be safe. no need now!
