I don't have enough mirrors in my house to really be aware that my hair is green. Until I go pee. It's a shock. Every time.

There is a great little mom and pop restaurant north of downtown near a pool I used to do my laps in every Saturday. I'd stop there after for a great breakfast. It's Hawaiian so they served spam. Which I love. I just read that the Mom died from Covi-19 two days ago and today her husband did, too. This whole thing sucks just a little more when it hits people you know even slightly.

And just now I read they are going to put a field hospital in the football stadium across the street. EDIT: not the field, actually, the exhibition hall which is attached to it.

I just saw episode 1 of Final Cut - the Tim Gunn/Heidi Klum version of Project Runway on Amazon prime. It's not nearly as good as the comparable show on Netflix but it's way better than what Project Runway had devolved into. Having said that, however, I think I'm over Heidi and Tim.

Back to Billions.

I'm looking forward to seeing both of these new shows, but I've been putting off the Netflix one as I'm still watching the latest series of Project Runway. I know what you mean about the conflict drama, but I still love seeing what they come up with. This latest series featured a 64 year old designer who had only just taken up designing a few years ago, and she did really well despite the irritating ageism of some of the other designers, so that was fun. And I adore Christian Siriano who not only has an amazing eye for what's wrong with the designs but it completely hilarious as well. I really miss Heidi though as Karlie Kloss is so anodyne, so I'll be interested to see how I feel about her on the new show given your feelings.

Argh! Just saw the first episode of Making The Cut and I totally get what you said about Tim and Heidi! Ugh, do not want to see them, especially in the cutesy bits. I was disappointed by how little you get to see the clothes being made. On PR the designers talk about what they're intending to do when Tim comes round, but here they keep it a mystery until the runway show. Tim said to one of the designers that it was the best solution to a problem he had ever seen, and we never even got to find out what it was. I like some of the clothes, but I found the whole thing a little bloodless. I'll watch it but for the time being I might put it aside and try the Netflix one.

I'm sorry about the restaurant couple. It's still not real to a lot of people. Many folks think that, if it doesn't personally affect them, it's just something someone else has to worry about. That's the general attitude in the small farm town I'm living in.

I love your green hair. I'm starting to wonder if this isn't the time for me to buzz cut my hair. I've been thinking about it for a few years. The problem is my riding helmet wouldn't fit and I'd have to spend $200 on a new one.

I understand you are celebrating an annual event today. Happy Birthday. Even in these auspicious times of social distancing, you have two little furry co-workers keeping you company. I hope you get through this time and enjoy many more days, months and years ahead with your furry loved ones.

I've actually met Morgan. He threw his arm around my shoulders. Long story.

The Netflix one has some fabulous designs. May I just apologise for the annoying British contestant.

Happy birthday.

Am curious why you just happened to have green hair dye in cupboard it is a bit random..

Very sad about the restaurant couple. Something like that makes this whole thing feel very immediate.
