Eufy got stuck under a shoe rack just at the time his battery died. It took me a while to find him but he's now charging up again. I forgave him totally.

I got an invitation to a phone Q and A with the manager of the Mariners - for "a special group season ticket holders". I'm guessing all season ticket holders that said 'yes' are 'special'. Might be interesting. Not even zoom. I could do it naked. Will be interesting to hear what he has to say. At least we have not lost any games yet this season!

I gave my face mask an upgrade.

And I made quiche muffins. I haven't made them in forever.

Ingredients (quantities can vary widely)

-about 3/4ths of a one pound chub of sausage cooked and crumbled.
-about 6 eggs (I would have done 8 but I'm not egg rich right now)
-about a cup of half and half (wonder of wonders - that now nearly 2 week old half and half still smells fine)
-about a cup of bisquik (or flower with baking powder)
-about 2 cups gated cheese

Mix it all together and pour into muffin cups. Leave room. This stuff rises. It falls about 5 mins out of the oven but you don't want it spilling over.

350 degrees for about 30 mins and you are done!

As soon as they get room temp, I'll pop on the lids and put them in the fridge. Then about 30 seconds of nuking will make each an excellent little breakfast.

Those muffins look delicious.

I hope one of these days we can finally repair or replace our oven. I really miss being able to bake -- especially when the recipe of the day subscriptions keep sending me cool recipes for baked goods, and I can't try them.

-about a cup of bisquik (or flower with baking powder)

I assume that parenthetical means a cup of flour to which one can add an appropriate amount (teaspoon? 2 tsp.?) of baking powder.

I wasn't actually intending to call out the typo; I was just clarifying that you didn't mean -- as I first read it -- flour that comes with baking powder already added (which I don't think exists, other than presumably being what Bisquick actually is).

Looking at your facemask made me realize something rather obvious were I still in business.

The facemask is going to be the new shopping bag for small business marketing. We are not going to have to pay for them for long. When the businesses open up they will offer them as givaways.

Way too late but a mask with "Why call a geek when you can call a FRIEND!!" would have made a pretty good mask.

Also, I recommend a carton of egg beater (or generic version) kind of stuff. I use it any time I'm making something like this. In this case I'd probably go half egg and half egg beaters. It leaves me more eggs for fried egg kind of stuff, keeps a really long time and gives a fuller flavor in scrambled or this kind of thing. I think it is better for you too but that is not really a consideration.

I'm loving the effort you've put into doing a photo demo of your muffins, Susan. Nice mask!
