How are they going to keep old people out of places?? Are they going to card you at entry?

I see a potential market for fake ID's ... pssss, I need proof, I'm under 65, can ya do me?

LMAO You could have the corner on a great market! Who knew there could be a time when people would want IDs to show they're younger to get into places rather than the other way around? Ha!

Years ago my Mom was a regular patron at the Seattle Rep. Apparently somebody served an underage patron so every single person entering the patron lounge had to show their ID from then on.

She said you have never seen a group of happier senior citizens than those ladies being carded

Years ago -- but not that many -- my husband got carded when we bought wine at a local whole foods. He was in his 60s then, I think.

a few days ago I saw people refusing to cop to being over 65 even though it would have got them into the grocery store before everyone else (and not to sound mean but they definitely looked way over 65....)

And then you'll only be able to buy hair dye on the black market. Plastic surgeons' offices will be like 1920s Speakeasys and be raided by the AGL (Anti-Geezer League).

That was essentially my attitude when I started taking advantage of the dedicated seniors hour at my grocery store. I'm not a senior yet but I doubted very much they were going to card me, what with my grey hair and all.
