A few years ago, I bought some sandals that I loved instantly. They just felt perfect on my feet. After a week of wear, I went back to Zappos and bought another pair just like 'em. I didn't even take pair #2 out of the box for two years but when pair #1 started to look like shit from wear, I was so proud of myself for buying a backup pair.

The new shoes I got this week are so wonderful that today, I went back to Zappos to buy a backup pair. There were none. Except in ugly colors. So I asked Google for help. And Google sent me to Amazon where there was a pair in Navy in my size for $5 cheaper than I paid at Zappos! (which is crazy since they are the same company)

Then flush with that victory, I got crazy. The winter boots that just died on me are, of course, now out of production. Zappos is out, Amazon is out, but lo and behold, there at Shoemall.com is a pair in my size in my color with a 25% discount cause it's no longer winter!!

Score, score, score. My feet a terminally flat. There is not an arch anywhere near either of them. I have a bone sticking out of one side that gets more stickie outie every year. I've always had enormous trouble finding shoes that fit. And back when I wore heels, don't even get me started...

And now to have summer shoes and winter shoes that I know are exceedingly comfortable and don't look like shit... True, amazing, heavenly shoe security.

And it just now dawned on me that the sandals, the boots and the newest ones are all Skeetchers. Well, I'll be damned. Wow.

Skechers again. Amazing. They've got it figured out.

My feet are big and very wide and one is shorter and wider than the other, and buying shoes has always been problematic so when I find shoes that are comfortable I tend to buy more than one pair.

You lucky girl. I have a hard time finding shoes because my feet are small. I have had at times bought my running shoes in the kids department. But if I need something dressy the kids department doesn’t cut it. Unless I want something with bows, patten leather or a pair of Mary Janes. No! to all 3. 🙃

Nice!!! I have some sketchers that I love, too, so I’m not surprised,

I found some good shoes too, recently. In fact, maybe they warrant a post of their own...

If I find a pair of shoes I like, I generally wear them until they fall apart. I have the opposite problem from you, VERY high arches.

My first pair of Skechers made me do exactly what you did... run right out and buy two more pair! The first pair was a cheap pair with a weird black mesh upper that breathes well but sure isn't waterproof. Next two pairs were nice solid leather, essentially identical except one brown and one black. I alternate them daily when it's cold enough for shoes instead of sandals, and alternate brown and black socks to match.
