My arms were fine after yesterday's swim and today they are as sore as they were the first day. WTF? The swim was great, though. Such a nice pool. And wonderfully cool. I'd guess it's maybe 5 degrees cooler than the pool at LA Fitness. I noticed today, at the end of my swim, the water still felt refreshing instead of bathtub warm.

Getting there and back is getting easier. The new route I tried this morning was a bit of a fail but I have a different one to try next. Monday.

The chlorine is drying out my skin and bleaching my hair but it's totally worth it.

Our COVID nums are not getting better. The governor, yesterday, did a tiny rollback and if things don't improve, I'm sure the next step will close the pool... again. So, I'm enjoying the heck out of it while I can.

And speaking of enjoying the heck... I found a show last night that is just genius. HGTV House Hunters: Comedians on Couches. Via zoom-ish video, comedians watch an old episode of House Hunters and chat it up. And it's perfectly done. Not too much, not too little and really just hilarious. There are only 8 episodes. I'm going to have to dole them out carefully. HGTV needs to make this a permanent series.

The weather gods snuck in a coolish day today. Cloudy with just the tiniest bit of mist. I'm tempted to go someplace. I might just see about taking Biggie to the vet. As I typed that sentence, he scampered to the top of the kitchen cabinets. Ha!

All this running around has led to another issue. That full tank of gas that I bought in March? It's not full any more!! It's getting alarmingly close to half a tank. I may have to buy more! I wonder what happens when you mix really old gas with new? Guess we'll find out. But, probably not today.

Hah - Biggie can obviously read minds. (Or just read.)

We're getting to that point with gas too.

Glad you can swim again. I think being able to get out once a day doing something I like (in my case walking Zoe) makes so much difference. Worth the effort, gas, and sore.

If they end up having to close the pool again, will your payment be refunded or do you get some sort of extension on what you paid for? Maybe you don't know yet.
