I did wait. I really did. I found some excellent stuff in Goodwill. I wanted one of those sandwich press gadgets that cost $30 that you use for a week and then put in the Goodwill bin. I got this exact one for $4. I will use it for a week and put it the Goodwill bin. Happy camper.

Then I went to Daiso with a list of 3 things and found all three which never ever happens there.

On to Uwajimaya where I could not find pepperoni but found everything else. I don't think you can fault a Japanese grocery for not having pepperoni. I did get a poke bowl for lunch and some sushi for dinner. I'm set.

Then home to play with my new phone. It really is a great little phone. It feels so nice in the hand and OMG am I ever glad to have my fingerprint reader back. It's worth it just for that alone but also I got an earphone jack! It's so light weight. Setting up a new phone is just so slick these days. It really takes no time. I feel like I've been picking it up and turning it on and doing stuff with it for the past 3 hours solid and the battery says it's at 95%. That's impressive.

I used it to take the photos to list the Pixel 4 on Swappa. And on Amazon.

Now I'm charging it up so I can put it in the box ready to go whenever someone comes up with the cash. So, compared to my usual ones, this day has been busy!!

Covid screwed up the pig farmers. Workers could not come in. Huge delay in pigs getting to the processing plants. Processing plants have big Covid problems for the same reasons so there is delay there and Pepperoni takes a long time to obtain its pepperoni-ness.

Hence the hole in the inventory. Not the store. It is national.

Glad you like the phone.

Dana's Samsung J7 is all the more obvious in its failure to be a decent phone. I have it set up on Mint but can't get rid of the Samsung crap so Dana keeps going back to their messaging (instead of Google) and their calendar (same) and can't figure out why it won't work right. I'd love to trash it and get her a comparable Pixel but not right now. I see the Swappa prices are pretty good for the low end models.

I need to be 100% sure we're going to keep Mint first and save up some Prolific bucks first.

I've had a few from the alarm but still half are zero available even if I'm sitting here and click on it immediately.

Mine (ours - I bought Him one too) will be delivered on the 23rd. I'm so psyched. And so ready. I've been on the Galaxy 7Edge for ... well a few years so moving to the google phone will be a bit different but I don't expect too much of a difference.

Did you buy a case for yours? I've used Otter for years but they're $50 now. What are you using?

It is fantastic, how fast the change goes nowadays! I got a new one last week too and I just had to have the old and the new one lie near each other for half an hour and EVERYTHING is copied. Even the passwords for the WiFi and all the cookies and stuff. Fantastic! No hassle at all! Even the text messages from Whatsapp, which usually disappeared on me.

Oh YES. The contacts were always either doubled or cancelled. The messages lost. And all the apps had to be installed again..with passwords....agh. Days lost of my life.
