susandennisThe Everett Aqua Sox are one of the lower level minor league teams in the Mariner farm system. They have a wonderful little ball park, a funky frog for a logo/mascot and they used to have a pig who delivered the baseballs to the umpire before every game.
Now they have the best t-shirts in baseball.
I slept long and hard last night. Biggie has taken to sleeping next to me. Head where a second pillow would be if there was one. He has claimed that corner of the bed as his own. He waits until about 5 minutes after I turn out the lights and then hops up there and settles in, making sure his back or something of his is touching me. It's a great little snuggle maneuver. He stays there all night even when I get up to go pee and come back but is always gone when I wake up. It's a wonderful thing.
I finally got around to trying out my $4 quesadilla maker - a cheese and bacon quesadilla for breakfast. It worked great! I'm going to toss in some egg next time.
It's another cool morning. The air conditioner is off. My electric bill came in this morning and it was pretty darned hefty and worth every penny. I'd guess we have another 2 to 3 weeks of days that will require air conditioning at least part of the day, but then I can put it away until next summer.
Not much on the todo list today. The house stuff - laundry, etc is pretty much caught up. I have one more episode of Unorthodox on Netflix to watch. It is sure good. I never read the book so I don't know what is going to happen and I'm not sure I want to. I want all the characters to be fine and that's really not possible.
The ballgame isn't til 6 so I have plenty of time to do whatever. I think I'll start by brushing my teeth... and hair.
Biggie is on patrol this morning. Has not yet filed a report. (This was taken with my new phone and way zoomed. I love this phone.)
