If things were different...

There's a corner in a neighborhood on the other side of downtown that has a Safeway, a Trader Joe's and a Bartell's. I want about 3 things in each store. Easy peasy. Ordinarily, I'd pop other there this morning and get my stuff. Pandemically, I'm in a massive debate.

I don't need any of it. It's all want stuff.
It's Saturday. The places will be full of people.
I can go next week when two of the places have senior hours.

And, yet, I'm so tempted to go anyway for absolutely no good reason.

Last night I dreamed that I had sex with the boss (who was very hot, by the way) and everyone found out about it. The engineers would not speak to me but the marketing team was ok with it once I explained that my husband and I were separated.

It's a good thing I put no store by dream interpretation because I'd be unpacking that sucker for weeks.

Nothing happening here today. The baseball isn't until this evening.

I have been meaning to reorganize/refold and tidy up the fabric on the shelves in the hall. That actually might be a good job for today. Or at least I could get a start on it. If I could do a couple of shelves a day it wouldn't even be too onerous a job.

But first I need a shower. And then I need reading time. And then I need not to go shopping and then, maybe, fabric sorting. Ya gotta have a plan and that's mine.

I went to Target this morning, the good news was it was not crowded. The bad news was I wanted to buy jeans but no one can try anything on now (which I guess I should have seen coming) and I'm not throwing $$ away on clothes that don't fit me.

I keep trying to convince myself that if I cleaned just one drawer or shelf a day my house would be decluttered in no time. Sadly, i am kidding myself.

But, it worked for me! Or, it's working. The shelves are in a high traffic area. I fixed one and most of another so now the rest look worse than they did. I think fixing the rest is going to follow pretty darned quickly.
