Darrell and Dan finished up at 2:30. They cleaned up, got papers signed and were gone by 3. It was really amazing to see how they accomplished the whole thing.

Darrell told me that he's been doing this for 7 years. 3 or 4 a week. He also told me that once he installed a tub and left a cat in the wall. But, just once. Biggie was listening to the story. Unimpressed.

The shower is beautiful. Just beautiful. I don't know how I'm going to wait until tomorrow to try it out.

The story in pix...

That chunk is half the bathtub.

I can see how a cat got into a wall...

Hard to tell from this angle but there is both a hand held shower head and a wall mounted one. I can do one or the other or both at the same time!

I'm so very delighted.

As Darrell and Dan got into the elevator the very late guy from Safeway was calling. Darrell and Dan let him in at the front door. There were two delivery guys, more than an hour late and very apologetic. But they put it all on my kitchen counter for me. I was just happy to have food!!

I do need to put the bathroom back together and put the rest of the groceries away but right now, I'm wallowing in satisfaction.

So much room you can put a picnic table in there and have a picnic in the rain.

They do good work! Good thing Biggie didn't end up in the wall too. If I ever redo mine I'd get the wall and hand held shower heads, it's so nice to have both. I wouldn't know except I house sat for some friends that have one like it and it seemed handy. I wondered if you'd have shower doors or a curtain. I hope the trial run tomorrow (if you do wait) goes well!

When we had a major renovation done to my house in 12001 the contractors found a cat skeleton in bine of the walls.

To make it yet grimmer, the workers propped up the cat in the front window while they got on with the rest of the work.

Great job!!! That looks really good! It’ll be nice to have it just the way you want it.
And ha! to leaving a cat in the wall...I can see Biggie wasn’t deterred from his role as project manager.

LOVE it!

Oh man, this was done in one day?
We need to remove everything in our bathroom before a new walk-in shower is built, but I love the reality that this was done in OnE DAY.

Since who knows when you can return to the gym for showers, I think this was (is) a great way to satisfy those needs of cleanliness.

Getting old costs money!

The new shower looks great! They did an excellent job, and did it quickly, too.

It is nice and big. You would be able to put a shower chair in there if you ever wanted.

Congrats on a successful project!
