Lots of todo's today. Well, 'lots' may be stretching it.

- take some more of the color course I started yesterday - I get the whole colorwheel shit, what I don't get is how to transfer that knowledge to knowing which yarns make the best groupings. Work in Progress.

- watch the new episode of Bake Off

- find a new audio book to start tonight

- follow Tampa Bay's game in hopes they quit losing!

ok so maybe not lots but enough for a list!

My post office email says my ballot will be arriving today.

I moved here in 1991. I voted at a precinct in the first election and by the time the next one came around, they moved my precinct to a very inconvenient place AND also offered sign up for voting by mail. I grabbed the latter and have voted by mail ever since. A few years ago (five or so?) they closed down all the precincts and everyone voted by mail. Shortly thereafter, they even made it stamp-free. I feel like Washington State has their voter shit together.

I'm now trying, for the first time, the low cal hot chocolate packet with one little container of liquid coffee mate. Perfection. Also SELF STIRRED which makes it even better, of course.

There is a fly in this living room. Biggie is ignoring it and it's driving me crazy. Probably just in here for the warmth but, hey, if you are going to freeload, mind your manners!

I guess I'll just go take a shower, that will teach him!

Do you like the new cohost on Bake Off? I can't remember his name, of course, now that I'm typing this. Noel's new sidekick.

I think the more the series is progressing and the more he settles into it, the less of a straight man he is, so to speak:). He's very good friends with Noel and it really shows. I like them a great deal better as a combo than Noel and Sandi.

Minnesota has their shit together, too. I am impressed, when mailing your ballot in, the postage is paid by the state. A friend in Georgia said that's not the case there and some/many ballots are being rejected because it takes two stamps to mail them in ...

Yeah, one gets the distinct impression that the folks who run Georgia don't want people to vote. Certain people, anyway.

Massachusetts also, if I read the instructions correctly, pays the postage on mailed-in ballots, but since there's dropbox outside the Election Commission office, which is right around the corner from us, that's where mine is going. As soon as I get around to filling it out.

Though, I registered to Early Vote by Mail, I decided to go really early (Sept 21). We began Early Voting on Sept. 18th. At the last minute I decided not to wait for ballot to come in the mail, but to Early Vote in person. Well done, states who actually care about making voting once again a privilege and aren't standing in the way of democracy.

I too am doing the mail in process. Actually, I received my ballot here in WI about three weeks ago and I mailed it in about two weeks ago. Now I need to check online and make sure they recieved it.

I need to watch your baking show if only just for Matt Lucas! Daffyd Thomas was an awesome character. As were all his others. Wish they were still making episodes.

Afternoon, really curious about your colour course so please say more about what its like.. I find decision making about colour takes half the project time. Your afghan colours are fantastic, I was trying to track the colour choices and got a bit lost.
