So he threw up a little last night but no more so far. He's eating treats as normal. He ate a little of his kibble this morning. No poops.

But, energy level and behavior wise? He's exactly Biggie. A lot of mornings - about the 4 am mark, he loves to play Butt the Butt. He gets onto the bed and rams me. He runs from one corner to me and rams and then stops and then does it again. Over and over. With vigor and enthusiasm. And then stops and curls up to sleep. This morning, he played a rousing game of Butt the Butt. Not something I consider a sign of a sick cat. Certainly not the signs he gave when he had the blockages.

So I guess we won't be going to the vet today but, rather, keeping a close eye out. Since except for the two surgeries, he's never been sick at all, it's a strange position to be in now. I think if it were not for COVID, I'd have him into the vet and the vet would do an exam and tell me to take him home and watch him. so, here we are. Without the invoice.

Otherwise, here, today, there will be laundry. My hamper is full. Should be exciting. And, it's Bake Off day.

For what it's worth, my 2 cats throw up fairly regularly. Most of the time it's a hair ball, an indicator that I need to groom my furry beauty Piper a bit more often (than once a day). Other times it's because my black cat Dobby is gorging on his food, so that he loses it right after eating it. If he does it more than 2 times in a row, I switch him to a puzzle feeder that slows him down. Sometimes the urping is just a bit of randomness in the universe. But if it happens 3 times without a clear explanation-- to the vet we go.

Whoa. Intestinal blockages? Dang, that's bad. Your poor Big Guy! Yeah those cats who throw up for sport might be mine. I'm such a cat-softie that I don't even mind.

I know you've said this isn't like Biggie's two surgery occasions, and I'm sorry I don't recall but have you spoken with the vet? No doubt this comes from my own anxieties about my two if they're at all off their feed and especially when they aren't interested in eating, but that no poops state of affairs is something I find worrisome.

Biggie, we love you.

Could he be pooping somewhere else?
Because otherwise he sounds like he's doing ok

It'd be easier if they could talk.

or worse. Can you imagine the whining? "Wake up.. I'm bored" "I'm hungry" "Play with me...."
