Sunday mornings, when nothing is going on always seem more peaceful than other mornings. And today is one. Pre pandemic, there was a brass band who used the far corner of the football field grounds to practice on Sunday morning. Lots of people in this building bitched about it but I thought it was lovely. I miss them. I do hope they come back.

This morning on the treadmill I watched episode one of Perfect Strangers. It has held up amazingly well. It may be my goto for a while. I am really enjoying having the TV option for my treadmilling.

It is lovely to have Biggie back in full Biggie force. I've never had a cat who had a quick little illness and recovered so easily. Nice to know it's an option. I knew I had a litter box out in storage and checked it today to see if it was bigger and/or had taller sides. Bigger, yes, taller, no. And I found one I'd forgotten about as well out there - neither are useable for me now and they are going down to the recycle bins today. Chewing is bringing one with high sides that curve inward. Theirs was half the price of Amazon's. Hopefully this may contain the flinging.

The housecleaner comes this Wednesday. So even though it's the day before Thanksgiving - the worst day of the year to be in a grocery store - I plan to do a big shopping trip. It will have been 4 weeks since I've done grocery shopping. And I have my pre-ordered Thanksgiving meal to pick up. I have this feeling that this is not at all a doable plan. But, it's the one I'm going with. Worst case, it will be a complete fail and I'll be dining on the two remaining Eggos in my freezer or spaghetti-os with Spam so for sure I won't starve.

No big plans today. Short list of todo's around here and except for the aforementioned trip down to the dumpsters in the garage, will be right here in this condo enjoying the day.

Pick up some wood chunks for my cooker. I've got ribs and the only thing I need is wood. And, yeah, this Wed will be busy if this morning is any indication.

There was a total wacko in the grocery store yesterday. My shoe happened to be untied and he kept trying to lunge at me and tie it, I was all like, "back off, i can do it myself", I wouldn't let him get too close because of covid and he didn't seem to understand this even though he had a damn mask on. Hell, I wouldn't have let him get too close even if covid wasn't going on. he was creepy.

I used to love watching Perfect Strangers! I'm glad to hear it's held up. I may have to search it out and re-Watch some time. =D

Yay to Biggie!!
They really need to make litter boxes in larger sizes. Even the largest ones seem too small.
I have this type right now, it has a removable edge.
So far it's ok... but Atlas is already getting pretty large for it:

I have this type too, but HATE it. The sides are perfect, but Ophie uses the dip down part to fling litter out. XD

Oooh! That one's pretty nice! I like it!

The only problem with the black litter box we have is they made that lip the way they did, it's a great litter launching ramp. Ophie sometimes will stand in the box with her butt towards the ramp and do the double paw litter scoop fling maneuver and will fling bunches behind her and over the ramp. 😂

We had a hooded box for Bongo, but he used to pee up high so the top to bottom join seams would always leak. 🤢

Luckily so far Atty and Ophie are low to the ground squatters *lol*, so that design would totally work for them *yay*.

Oh, I like the look of the top opening one. Their upstairs litter box is out in the open, and so one like that might be less messy for sure.

So glad to hear Biggie is feeling better. Perfect Strangers was one of my favourite shows I loved Balki, I always laughed out loud when I watched that show.🤗

Wow - if Perfect Strangers is still watchable, there is hope in the world. I loved that show. Where does it stream from?
