Not my finest hour

The magnets, I'm pretty sure, will not hold. I tried two different types of glue. I'll fire up the glue gun if they don't. I'm going to give them a day to decide.

Then the paint. My brother had the best solution (paint the stained fabric) which I did not read until after the fabric was off.

Note to me: No need for 489,790 staples, next time.

But the paint went on fine. Biggie's paw prints are cute. The gouge in my hand where his back claw gripped me as I tried to get the paint off his front paws... that bleeding will stop eventually. I'm sure.

I was able to get the sides and bottom (just the run over from the sides) done after the top dried a little so now the whole thing is resting quietly and privately in the half bath with the door closed. Biggie is going nuts. That door is never closed. I think he's minutes away from calling PETA.

I only got a little paint on my shirt. 1. I don't love this shirt and 2. The paint color matches the print.

So... now... yarn inventory.

I often glue magnets (it's a travel thing - when travelling I often acquire those little badges with a pin on the back from museums and stuff and I clip the pin off, glue a magnet on and put them on the fridge) and I use an Araldite-type glue. In case that's not an international brand, it's the one where you mix the contents of two tubes together. They sell them in small quantities.

Oh -- just a thought -- Remove paint (and blood) from hands before beginning yarn inventory. 🤣😲

It's important to wear the right clothes when dealing with paint; always make sure the colors either match or harmonize.
