Nothing much today. Maybe a load of laundry or two? Maybe a pizza? Maybe not.

I have this giant jones for frosted christmas cookies that I can't seem to satisfy. I've gotten some from Etsy that were great but I'd love to find some locally and can't seem to. I'm not making any myself. So the quest continues. It's a good time of year for it. I do miss christmas bake sales.

I finished up The Crown yesterday. I'm really ok with waiting two years for more. I need a royal break. Those people are just a mess. I do have this vision of, particularly the lesser royals gathered round watching and hooting and hollering YES! Finally! Now everyone can see what we have to put up with!

I really got nothing more. Time for a shower and then the usual - internet, crochet, tv -and grateful for all three. Yeah, I wouldn't mind going out and maybe doing some shopping or something but, even if it were safe, I probably wouldn't. I'm actually perfectly fine with another day of the same.

Agreed with The Crown. Well made but ultimately peopled with people I just really want to slap. Other than the queen. I value my head.

That was how I felt about "Brideshead Revisited."
The whole lot of them. I used to say, "...except the servants," but I've reconsidered that and have decided the servants needed to leave town, maybe join the Mafia or the French Foreign Legion or something, but that they needed to get away from that crew.
...and REvisited! Holy cow, who, having got away from all that, would REvisist???

Aren't you within a reasonable distance, perhaps driving distance, of a famous market or two? In a city the size of Seattle, and with its food scene, there must be someone, or some bakery or patisserie or even a deli who has frosted Christmas cookies.

Pizza would have been a better supper than a double serving of Cream of Wheat. But I just wasn't motivated to get online and order pizza. Can we say *LAZY*...
