Fitbit and I agree that last night's sleep was sub par. No reason, really. Just some nights are like that. Not many, thankfully. I finally gave up and got up about 5:30 and started my day with the treadmill.
As usual, no big plans for today.
I need 2 things at Costco. Well, 2.5 things because I could use some gas in the car - it's down to half a tank and at my current driving rate, it could be empty as soon as the 4th of July! But also I need bacon and I'm hooked on their bacon. No one else has anything close.
So I think maybe Monday or Tuesday, I'll do their early morning old people hour and pop in and do the deed.
Then Wednesday is house cleaner day. I will use the time to grocery shop. I'm getting perilously close to being out of some key stuff. I think I'll do a Safeway/Trader Joe's. I also want to stop in a T-Mobile store and get a PayGo sim for my spare phone. They have a $3 a month plan but the only way to get a sim is by physically going into a store. I'm leery and that item is clearly on the may or may not list. My usual shopping at Goodwill is absolutely off the list until the pandemic numbers go down around here.
If I were truly smart, I'd tell the house cleaner to hold off until January. (Paying her, of course) and I still might just do that. It's only two more times. Maybe I'll let her come this week and tell her to skip the next one (which is Christmas Eve anyway) and just leave her the pay for both. Yes. I think that's what I'll do. Part of the issue is getting her pay to her. She's cash only. At least the pandemic has her using texts now. Maybe we'll get to Venmo or Zelle next year.
Right now I think I'll go do litter duty and then get into the shower and get dressed and see what Foyle is up to. I left him, last night, in the middle of a tricky deal.

Date: 2020-12-06 05:33 pm (UTC)It's in the refrigerator section (breakfast stuff). I bring it home and pop it into the freezer as is. Then, once it's frozen, I pull it out of the packaging and into a zippered plastic bag - easy peasy pull out 1 slice or 20. Love the stuff.
The downside is that since you don't cook it, you don't get any bacon grease.
I solved that with this - excellent quality and shelf stable.
