think it and it will be???
Dec. 14th, 2020 01:53 pmBiggie spent the morning eating and being crazy. He is generally a high energy cat but this morning he was on a double dose. He threw up - again, a small amount of liquid - about noon and then went about his shenanigans. About an hour later he was on the kitchen counter - at the end where he usually gets a treat. I laid out some and he did not land on them with his usual gusto. He kind of ate at some of them but there are treat bits left which there never are usually. I got laundry out of the dryer and laid it on the bed to cool and that's where he's napping now.
But, I'm worried. I'd love to just pop all that in an email to his vet and get a response that says something like 'don't worry, sounds benign, keep an eye out' or 'that's a sign of xxx and you need to watch out for yyy' or 'bring him in'. I'd pay extra for this service if they had it.
However, my vet does not respond well or promptly to email. You have to call and then you get put on hold or it goes to voice mail. So I'm not interested in them unless I really do need to bring him in.
It would be so great, though, to have a vet I could just email or chat with - surely someone offers that service.... Well, Google says yes they do! Justananswer.com - they've got all kinds of experts and it's a real thing with great reviews.
$5. Just what I was looking for. Online chat. So now that I know it's there and it's available whenever I want, I'm cool with more wait and see. I wrote out what I would send them if I did it so I have it ready to copy and paste.

Tonight is the condo's annual budget meeting. They have put the budget together and just need it approved. The bylaws, like most condos, are written so that the budget gets passed until 51% of the residents vote against it. You could not get 51% of the residents in this building to agree that the sky was blue. So there's no chance it won't pass but there is every chance there will be bitching since the dues went up again. Our dues are higher than most Seattle condos because condo dues are based on square footage and our condos are way bigger than most. Does not stop the bitching.
This year, the management company got frisky. They sent out the document via snail mail as they are required to do. In that snail mail written in the accompany memo is the link to the meeting tonight. It's a zoom link. Written on paper. Way to keep the crowd down!! It's actually the same link they always use but I seriously doubt anyone is going to realize that. I think it's funny and pretty clever.
I will, of course, log in just to show them they cannot outsmart me.
