We're getting better at this

susandennisI just gave Biggie his afternoon dose of whateveritis in the syringe and this time, I got it all into his mouth. Victory!
He's doing good, I think. He's lazing round like he's drugged but then he actually is drugged. He gets up now and again to eat or go to the litter box. He left me a lovely poop and has peed a couple of times. I'm happy to see the plumbing working as designed.
He was fast asleep so I decided to go out and put the furniture back upright on the terrace. I didn't close the door. And, yep, guess who arrived promptly to help. But, he did not seem to mind when I ushered him back inside.
I'm hearing nothing from the emergency vet's office. I'm guessing they haven't heard back from the biopsy and might not til Monday which is fine. I'm not too stressed about that. But, I would think a follow up "how's he doin'" call would be nice.
Just now I'm waiting for an Amazon delivery - they are "2 stops away". And while I wait I'm enjoying my new favorite winter beverage. Coffee snobs, avert your eyes... I'm really enjoying Hazelnut decaf this winter. In the afternoons or evenings. I also love my Keurig (hope eyes are still averted) which has a little message screen that says "brewing" until it's done and then it flips to "enjoy" and this cracks me up every time. It's the little things.
I'm still binging on Foyle's War. There is so much of it and it's now just comfort food tv. I try not to watch more than one episode a day but I'm not always successful.
So that has been today. Crochet and TV and quiet. Nice, actually.
