Biggie is way more Biggie this morning. He walks more like Biggie. His stitches are cool to the touch. He wants out of that damn collar and managed it. Now tightened. He had a nice, big breakfast this morning. And, I think, he's bored.

The vet instructions say that the stitches will bother him most 4-7 days after. So I'm thinking maybe Wednesday or Thursday we can practice with the collar off. And maybe even try the cat door again. Although, I must say, it's so much warmer in here without that damn cat door!

There's a french chef in town who's offering a wagyu steak and fries and a beautiful salad for pickup. You can select pick up hot or cold-for-reheat. Knowing his restaurant, it's enough for two and maybe more meals. Not as expensive as I would have expected. And tempting. I could pick it up Wednesday evening and have feasts on Christmas Eve and Christmas. I have a few days to debate. But, really I should be more concerned with beefing up my savings again rather then beefing up me.

I've been experimenting with eating. I usually have a little something with my coffee - a breakfast burrito maybe - about 6:30 or 7 and then by 10 I'm starting to get hungry. Sometimes I try to hold out until 11:30 or noon. But lately, I've decided to try little meals instead.

Yesterday I had a breakfast burrito at 6 and then a half a ham and cheese sandwich about 10. I had scrambled eggs, a potato cake, some tomato and bacon about 2:30 and a slice of pizza at 5. There were a couple of cookies in between and a pop tart with coffee last night.

Today I started off with a bigger breakfast about 8. We'll see how the rest of the day goes. I think I'm ok with these small meals and currently, my kitchen is kind of stocked for them.

I just went out on the terrace to snap a picture and realized that it maybe isn't the lack of cat door keeping this place warmer. It's really not that cold out! Interesting.

This is my current crochet project. I have no idea what it will be. Maybe just a lap robe.

Today promises to be another like the rest which is fine. More crochet. More Folye's War. More watching Biggie heal. There could be a million worse ways to enjoy a day. I'm content and grateful.

If it is OK with you I'd like to got have Christmas dinner with Mom in Charleston. Can't remember the restaurant but it was glorious. Two seatings and the wait staff made a fortune.

It looks like a cozy blanket to toss on the back of the couch for TV time.

I've thought about the hair also but when the Americans were there it was a good contrast. It is kind of a commentary on how difficult just maintaining was for them. And the contrast with the incoming Yanks was jarring.
