We're on the back half of kitty recovery. The pill shooter showed up but turns out it was easier to just pop that pill into the back of his throat with my hand. And faster which he appreciated. I'll save the shooter and hopefully never have to ever use it.

Last night he was climbing on everything and, with his collar, knocking everything over. It was a mess.

Finally, I opened up the door so he could go outside. That helped. This morning I did the same and he wore himself out fairly quickly - in and out and in and out. Now he's here on the couch with me and the door is closed but it is still pretty darned chilly in here. He's so lucky that I don't mind the cold.

Once we can get his stitches out and his collar off, things will calm down.

When I first got Biggie, he was not at all interested in treats. But, he gets them every day after nail check/clip and other times as well and they have turned into a useful tool. That's how I got him off the kitchen wall last night. I just rattled the treat jar and down he came. That's how I got him up on the counter for pill time. Treat addiction is very useful.

Today I am going to leave the building. I need to stop by Amazon and drop off some returns and then on to the restaurant to pick up my Christmas dinner. The latter won't be available until 4:45. So I'll wait until then to do both. I thought about also including the grocery store or Trader Joe's but, really, there's nothing I need badly enough to chance the risk. So I'll just make my two stops and come home. Pretty exciting, eh?

That's it for the thrills and spills expected today. I think I'll spend some time planning my finances for next year but first I think I'm going to see if a shower and a few more layers of clothing will make my current world a little warmer.

I'm glad he's recovering. *yay* And sounds like he's his silly self already and climbing all over.

And yeah, it was the same with Bongo and pills. The pill shooter was more trouble than it was worth, and doing it by hand went faster and easier. *lol*

"Treat addiction is very useful."
It sure is handy. We use the treat method too. *lol*

maybe biting cats need a shooter for pills more so that cats do not gnaw the hand with the pill.
good thing Biggie is getting better! He looks good, the coat shines, he is interested in everything, everything should be good with him!

It's hard to keep 'em down once they start feeling better! I can imagine how relieved you must feel.
