A very Biggie Christmas

He's doing fine without his collar. After several long, serious, self grooming sessions, yesterday, he seems to have gotten to all the important places but is not at all interested in the stitches so. Yeah! He's so much more agile without it. And now he can come and go outside as he pleases and he pleases a great deal. It's really cold out there today and he's spent more than half his time since we woke up, out there just sitting and watching.
And he slept like a rock. Very nearly literally. At one point he had kind of taken over the middle of the bed. I picked him up and moved him to the side and he didn't even wake up. If he hadn't been snoring, I would have checked his breathing.
At one point, early on, this journal was all about my seriously hilarious Mom and her adventures at the 'home'. Now it's all about a cat. Time marches on.
I finished up Foyle's War last night. Turns out it was a lovely way to Christmas Eve. I'm still loving the name of the actress who played the female lead - Honeysuckle Weeks.
Today I'll need to find something else to watch.
The other big action today will be a trip down to the dumpsters. I have garbage and recycling. And maybe that laundry that didn't get done yesterday.
No other plans. Just a regular day but a really really quiet one.

Date: 2020-12-25 07:36 pm (UTC)I was trying to take the garbage out earlier this morning and all the garbage chutes in my bldg were clogged so I had to go out into the street and stick the garbage bag in a public garbage can on the sidewalk in front. I'm not sure I'm supposed to do that but I didn't know what else to do with it.
