So shamed on by meowmensteen, I pulled the cookie roll out of the freezer and sliced it up. I preheated the oven and put the cookie sheet of about 18 cookies into the oven. I waited 10 minutes and went to check to see if they were done.

Do they smell good at least? Is there some redeeming quality beyond the laughs? Those are pretty on brand for 2020 really, all around from making the dough to now.

They didn't smell at all really. They don't taste terrible but the texture is very weird.

[2] you put them and the rest of the dough in the trash
[3] and the mixer isn't lonely any more.

3 but not 2 and 1, actually. they taste ok but the texture is a little weird. I finally cut them up into squares. I may yet throw most out but they haven't gone yet. I did send the icing to keep the mixer company, however. It was just gross.

Been there, done that. But once done you can just cut them into square cookies. They will taste the same and your stomach will never know the difference!
