It's Monday which doesn't matter of a week that doesn't matter. Actually, it all matters but just equally. I've done all my year end stuff and now am waiting for next week for first of the year stuff. This year, though, the only first of the year stuff I have on my list is drugs.
The price will be the same on Jan 1 as Dec 31 but on Jan 1, that amount goes towards the deductible. It's the United States Insurance Shell Game! I'm still going to give the Amazon Pharmacy a try. In this case, it's not for price (the insurance company sets the price) but for service.
Part of the issue is that switching pharmacy's isn't that easy. I have to go to the doctor and get the doctor to send the prescription to a different place. The prescription is written for a year (four 90 day doses or twelve 30 day). When you switch pharmacy's in he middle of a year's prescription, often the insurance company gets fucked up. When that happens the pharmacy will not fill the prescription. I think if I offer to pay cash, they will but, in one case, at least, I'd need a mortgage for that. Of also there are 4 drugs involved - 3 from one doctor and 1 from Dr. Lung. It's all so complicated and really it could be much worse.
For today, everything is cool. And I do mean cool. It's 58 degrees in here right now. (Or 14 for you other guys.) And 35 outside. chchchchilly!
No plans for today. Just belly watch. Biggie still has one small raw spot on his belly. In general his whole belly is cool and doing well. Just this one spot. Honestly, I think I should have waited to get the stitches out. But, otherwise, he's doing fine. And at work early today.
