These people actually have cats
Dec. 30th, 2020 01:48 pmSo, The Most Expensive Cat In The World has a new high end litter box. This is his third or fourth litter box now (in 18 months). I want it to be his lifetime litter box so I went for the pricey model. It comes with two inserts so it is really two litter boxes in one but still, pricey.
It comes in a giant box, of course, and no cat can resist a giant box. I opened the box and he jumped in, of course. Then I scooped him out and took out the box inside the box. It held the liners, the clips, the lid, the scoop, the instructions and the ping pong ball.
Ping pong ball?????? Then I noticed the smaller box said it was a cat toy. And I saw strategically placed punch-out-able holes all over it. So I punched them all out and put the ping pong ball inside. Biggie did not need to RTFM, he got it in 0. And it occupied him for the entire time it took me to set up, clean out, transfer and install the new litter box into the cupboard. Of course all that took much less time since he wasn't helping me.

Godbless that ping pong ball. And isn't that just genius packaging?! Plus I was worried about his having too much screen time. I'll bet those people have cats and their cats are supremely happy.
I went to pick up my food and it was great. It was the first time I'd actually been in the place. I'd only ordered delivery before but they don't delivery til night and I wanted mid-day. $30 got me 5 meals. Delish. I got a beef dish this time which was good but not as fab as their chicken version. Next time I'll know.
I took a massive load of recycling and garbage down to the dumpsters and wrapped up all the future lunch and dinners and now I think I'll take some time off.

Date: 2021-01-01 08:43 pm (UTC)I'm on my 6th and 7th cats, lifetime, I think, and only now have one who digs and digs and throws litter around. Been using a covered Booda Dome box for years---the one that doesn't have the staircase---but it's getting pretty worn out.

I also like that it has legs and does not sit flush on the ground.
BUT there is still flinging action. That front entry is clearly available for flinging through. Not nearly as bad as before but he manages to get some out.
