This is a new account on Instagram (yes, I am trying to quit and shit like this just makes it harder). But, in this case. it is easier and more complete just to work from the Linked in page.

It's so hard to pick a favorite but probably this one in Vermont gets my vote.

This window is not the weirdest thing in this house.

Yes. Something would be an accurate description.

I have to clean up the jail some.

The exterior reminds me of a church or civic building. ;)

I went through the first few slides and didn't see anything weird, what is the weirdest thing in the house if it's not the window?

Bring your own ideas on what this 28' x 40' wing could be! I had to laugh at the realtor's description of the old jail :) Kinda creepy though!

I LOVE real estate sites. I just saw this funny window on one a few days ago. Yesterday I saw one with a nicely(ha) tiled bathroom with a small step you climbed to sit on the toilet. I would fall down and split my head open on day one. Haha

Oh my !

I thought all those pipes were odd, then it just became another tale of weird American folks.

Oh, wow. Anything I do to my new house will never be as bad as some of those places.

Methinks the only reason some of those places are for sale is the owner died.

I am fascinated that the jail cells are still open for viewing. I wonder if the buyer would need to make some kind of agreement with the city to stop showing them. I wouldn't want to live in a house with people chained in the basement! Damn 1800s jailers.

The slanted window is known as a Witch Window, which apparently is a thing in Vermont.

Thanks, I enjoyed touring that fine old house. I kept wondering what you found so weird about it, and then I saw the jail cells!

OMG!

On a brighter note, a local house that I have dreamed about owning recently came on the market. While it is way too big (and expensive) for me, I enjoyed the rare chance to virtually tour it. The trompe-l'oeil cow in the living room... well, OK.

The wallpaper in the dining room? Ouch.

LOL I found that account recently too. It’s a trip for sure! Some things are real head scratchers on why someone would do that to their house.
