I got Biggie two birthday presents. One came yesterday - Catit Senses Trail... The ball lights up when it's touched. The light goes out when it's still. The trail can be configured in a circle or in other wiggly ways. He took to it immediately. I think it's a winner. Chewy carries them and so does Amazon.

My new toaster oven/air fryer arrived. And it's just what I wanted. It's smaller than the one it replaced. And it looks more like it fits in the kitchen. The toasting function works better than I expected. For dinner I had peanut butter toast where you toast the bread on both sides, add peanut better and then broil the top. It's a goto that I've been without for a long time. (Yes, I could use the big oven but way too much trouble.) Next up, melted cheese sandwich and then I'll try out some of the other functions.

The stupid ice maker people actually CALLED me this morning. Called me on the telephone. To tell me they were sending me an email. WTF kind of service is that??? The email said that I needed a new ice holder to the tune of $25. I was so pissed by the phone call, I think I'm gong to live with the leak. I have a plan for wicking out the water that I'm going to try.

I'm also going to quit calling into to the HOA meetings. Those people are just too frustrating to listen to. They can and do talk everything to death and get nowhere. And are not interested in any thoughts or ideas from anyone else. They all seem to be on the same page with each other so that's just lovely. They don't need me and my blood pressure does not need them. I think last night was really my last meeting.

I think I'm going to walk over to Daiso this morning. I have a couple of things I want there and I want to see if I can do it. It's a little short of double what I do on the treadmill but with inclines and declines and no safety net. But, worth a try. I do think I'll get dressed first.

I hear you on the HOA meetings. I have been in the same condo building for the past 20 years and the annual tenants' meeting makes me want to stab myself. It is part sniping, part politciking, part complaining, and part butt-kissing. It's the board of directors trying to appease the residents and doing a horrible job. A few years ago one resident felt some issues with the building were handled badly by the board so he decided to start his own organization Friends of the (Condo). At that point I had had enough and never went to an annual meeting again. I live here and pay my maintenance feeds and deal with whatever goes wrong because trying to get answers or help from the board gets me nowhere.

I feel kind of foolish, I didn't even know they still made toaster ovens!
