Today is like this week. I got nothing planned. Nothing scheduled. That could change but for right now, I'm footloose and fancy free! And I have food aplenty so I'm set.

I, myself am showered and dressed. The first load of laundry is in the washer. It's time to do the bathroom rugs, too.

I rarely lose socks in the laundry. But, somehow I have lost a shit load of wash cloths. I have about a dozen lime green IKEA wash cloths. Somewhere. I can find exactly 1.

I can hear Biggie in another part of the house wreaking havoc with something. I'm afraid to go look.

When I was at the doctors now 2.5 weeks ago, I had him freeze off this annoying, itchy thing on my back. It is a little bigger around than a quarter so not trivial. I had it freeze it off because it itches like crazy and scratching it made a bloody mess. It is now 2.5 weeks later and it is scabbed over fairly well and... itching like crazy! It is smack in the middle of my back at my waistline and even with the mirror I cannot see it well. So it's hard to monitor. It is not hot or angry looking so I think it's fine, just taking it's own time to heal but it's driving me NUTS!

I have several cuts and tears on my hands from various things and in various stages of healing.

I watch way too many forensic murder shows. I look at my hands and think what the pathologist will say as he or she examines my body for cause of death. I feel like I'm just mounting up false clues here.

I finished off my weekly crochet along section and have put it away until Friday when the next instructions come out. I'm not loving it, but I am committed. So whatever.

Today I'm going back to the sweater that I started last week. And, likely, more forensic scientist murder TV watching. Silent Witness has a buttload of episodes.

These blankets are beautiful!

Hope your back heals soon! Goodness!

As far as socks...I am really good at losing those. I wear socks that fit at the heal most of the time. No show socks. They crunch up small and easily get lost or stuck on other clothes. Though, these days, I hardly ever wear socks. So I haven't lost many socks this year as they all have been folded nicely in the drawer. Hah.

Tramadol is my pain-killer of choice, but it makes me itch. Years ago I bought a back-scratcher. One of those old-fashioned things with a "hand" on the end. It still serves me well. I hope your itchy spot heals and you don't have to deal with it anymore. What a pain!

I once had 8 moles frozen off that my doctor thought could potentially turn cancerous. They itched like crazy as they were healing, but once healed the itching stopped. I hope your itching stops SOON! *hugs*

I think I mentioned this before, but I absolutely LOVE Silent Witness! Thanks to my Scots hubby. Overall British TV has way more substance and class than American TV. Rosemary and Thyme is another favorite. More of a cozy murder mystery but a good watch. Your blanket looks great! Can’t wait to see it finished! Look under your bed or in the closet, ..... I’d be willing to bet Biggie has abscounded with your washcloths. They are just the right size for him to grab and run with!

Sorry you're not enjoying your blanket. It looks like it's coming along nicely, at least. Are the stitches not fun to work or do you not like the look?

Fingers crossed your back heals soon!

There's a lot of neat or at least nice stuff in the design that doesn't work well together, imo. Maybe I'm missing something but the different elements aren't very cohesive to my eye. So, rather than complement each other, the blank areas make the more elaborate rows look jarring and the more elaborate rows make the blank areas look dull. Granted, that's how I feel about a lot of "sampler" style blankets, so maybe we're both overthinking it XD
