I did go to Goodwill and discovered that they have done a store shuffle and rearrange and made shopping there so much better. They spread stuff out so its far less jumbly. I scored a nice big silpat mat for $2 and a nice pitcher for this summer's iced tea.

Just this week, I found a Dash egg boiler/cooker reduced in the Amazon Warehouse. $16. I was delighted and ordered it right up. Due to get here is weekend.

Today, in Goodwill, I bought the exact same thing for $3! It was missing the little measuring cup with a pin to puncture the eggs. I found the measures, gabbed a sharpie and a pill bottle and made my own. I grabbed a T-pin from my knitting bag. I'm whole and I canceled the Amazon order.

When I got home, I emptied out a shelf over the counter and it is now my Dash shelf. It now contains waffle irons/griddle/grill and the egg cooker. All in one place.

I had canceled a different Amazon order but not in time. They delivered it today. No biggie. Now I have tomorrow's outing! I'll take it to the very nearby return center.

While I was out today, I drove by the gynormous vaccine center down the street. It was busy. It's two long blocks from here and the busy has not really worked it's way up to this end. I was also happy to see Al's Sausage all set up. Al's is one of the best outside-the-stadium hot dog vendors. He's been out there forfreakinever. His dogs are good and his workers are fun. I was tickled to see him taking advantage of a new customer base!

Hahaha just now saw on twitter that there's a line delay because Sue Bird and Megan Rapinoe just showed up to greet and take selfies. How fun.

My car has gotten extremely junky. Someone needs to get in there and clean it out, vacuum and wipe down the seats. The car dealership will do that when I take it in for it's annual checkup but I think that's not til June or July. Somebody needs to get on it before then.

well i meant this cooker. Is it a little steamer thing for hard boiled eggs?
i was thinking it was a mini egg bite maker.

I love kitchen gadgets. If I had my druthers, I'd get rid of all the big appliances and have huge counters for gadgets like egg cookers, indoor grills, toaster/convection oven, slow cookers, rotisseries, ricers, etc. Right now I have a rolling butcher block in the dining room that holds them when they are being used, but it's not ideal.

I need a bigger kitchen for all of my mini-appliances, but I use all of them. They are great at cooking stuff for two.

A lot of people buy mini appliances and never use them. I use all of mine. I have two crockpots for cooking dinner and I use them both at the same time.
