I abandoned - at least for now - the crochet along blanket I was making. And another crochet project I started a long time ago and never made it back.

I organized my winter shirts and culled out the ones I don't love.

I moved all of my 4,985 browser bookmarks to am HTML file and deleted all but about 20 from the bookmarks file. I can now find shit!

I moved every icon off the home pages of my phone except for a handful that I put into one folder.

I am tired of drowning in stuff everywhere. Shit's not bringing me joy.

I signed up for Master Class and after some major festuching of the sign up process and then misunderstanding of a deal they were offering I decided that it was just not for me. Not for $180 for a year (which, honestly, is very reasonable, I just don't want it). I've asked for a refund per their satisfaction guaranteed or a refund situation. EDIT: they just sent the refund notice. Whew.

I desperately need a 24 hour waiting period before hitting 'buy' for online purchases. I've lost my ability to judge maturely.

Well, yeah. I have such a delay policy. It helps a lot. Then later when I log in, I've forgotten about the things I thought I couldn't live without, and filled up the cart with completely different things. Lesson learned.

Master Class seems odd to me. Someone with talent, like Steve Martin, can't necessarily teach something well enough to transfer that talent to someone else. I'd love to be able to dance, but taking a class from a famous ballerina isn't going to give me that ability.

I'm a little bummed that you're not going to stick with it. You could have been a guinea pig. Who knows? You may have written and directed a blockbuster film and made millions!

Put your computer in an ice tray in the freezer. That way when you want to buy something you have to thaw it out.

Hmmm... maybe something wrong with that.

I could use that 24 hour waiting period, myself. I mean, I do that a bit, I try to make Saturday my “buy” day—like if I still want a thing by the time Saturday rolls around, I let myself buy whatever is in my cart.

But man, I can do some real damage just the same. Sometimes I just shop from bed at night and barely remember why in the morning.

I love your idea of editing your bookmarks in an HTML file! And relatedly, I had reason recently to thank you again for your brilliant plan of making a list of your regular credit card payments so it was easy to update the expiry date. I had some fraud on my card recently meaning they cancelled it, so my list is going to come in extra handy for re-upping all those payments.

Yerp. I'm with ya.

I'm not so careful about my digital pack-ratting. I cull and save because it's cheap and easy to save everything. The stuff that means a lot to me can be right in front of my eyes. I'm not going to worry about the two massive (in data, not size) hard disks I can stack neatly on my book shelf. I get them for free when a customer abandons them, so yeah.

I've got the same approximate amount of bookmarks. I keep them contained in folders, but they still get way out of hand. Every once in a while I run a Firefox extension "Bookmark Dupes" on them to get rid of the duplicates. (I need to do it now.) I wish I could find one that would weed out the bad links.

It's real space that bothers me. All the crap I do not need. In the attic, in the basement. All of it just sitting there collecting dust and it needs to go. I think it makes me depressed. It reminds me of everything I haven't done.

Aw, what a bummer! But, I know I have had to scrap a few of my own projects. Been there!

I just noticed this week the chrome 'reading list' tab and have started dropping bookmarks there. I'm not sure if that will help with my bookmark hoarding or not...
