Biggie's birthday presents sits here on the couch next to me. He actually spends a lot of the time that he used to spend in the bedroom closet, in the pod instead.



I'm sitting here crocheting in the quiet and listening to his little sleep sounds. It's really just lovely.



Outside, we are having a very rare (for Seattle) thunderstorm.

I just broken my wait 24 hours or until 'buy' day to purchase something. I was going to skip this weekend's pastries but, again, I could not. This week she has cheese and mushroom scones and twice baked au gratin potato croissants. I could maybe have passed up one of those but not both. Sigh.

Ooh those cheese and mushroom scones sound yummy. Actually, both do but I am much more likely to make scones than croissants. (Scurries off to search the internet for a recipe).
