So the Bodycraft people told me to check the amps of the treadmill ?????? Even IF I could - had the tools and knowhow - what in the heck do I do then?
And then about an hour later I got a note from Tija (former gym owner and the nicest person on the planet) saying she still had not heard from her treadmill fix it friend but maybe she could come take a look and help me decide what to do.
She is too young still to be vaccinated so she said I could roll it out to the hallway and she could plug it in there. So so so nice. I sent her a note back explaining the lack of failure for the past three days and maybe it was now unbroken so let's hold off.
But, how nice was it of her to offer?!
Meanwhile I went nowhere and probably won't today. Should lost out to nah. Some days are like that.

Excessive amperage draw might trip the breaker but you'd kind of know what since it would not reset itself. Short of that it is irrelevant far as I can see. You've almost surely got a 20 amp circuit you're plugged into. If you gang enough equipment to exceed the 20 amps on that circuit the breaker trips so you don't start a fire. It is sort of binary. Either working or not. And once not working it will not start again until you reset the breaker.
Send a note back asking for more detailed explanation of their troubleshooting thoughts and send it on. I think they are just making stuff up but there might be something. And, btw, they should know the amperage draw of the machine. It is on the label they are required to afix to it.
