1. What moment in the last year brought you the most joy?

I guess I’d have to say that first vaccination! And, the second. But the first one really did seem like such a miraculous blessing.

But, I gotta say that last year, and all years, I am lucky enough to suffer from many moments of joy. One of the silliest ones is coming out of the bathroom after a shower and getting dressed and ready to make up the bed and start my day only to discover that I'd already made the bed. Sometimes looking at the colors of my walls just makes me smile. Biggie, when he's not biting me, or shredding toilet paper or knocking over the 579th thing for day, brings me many moments of joy.

I'm very lucky to have them all and more BUT also very lucky to have learned early on how important it is to realize and wallow in those moments when they happen.

I so agree with you on the joy of getting that first vaccination! I walked out onto the street after getting my first, and felt like so many tons of worry and cautious behavior that accumulated over the past years was literally washing off of my body. I felt excited, like a brand new world was opening up to me. My second is at the end of April, and I do worry about the side effects that i might have for a few days. But still so damned worth a few days of feeling not so great!
