4. If your mom was alive, what would you like for her to know about your life now?

That she’s still a part of it every day. She taught me how to retire. I watched her stumble through life after Daddy died and I picked up some wonderful tips about what’s ok and what’s just fine, what's worth worry about when you get old and what's not. Mainly, I’d like her to know she was a great mother and I’m not sure she knew that (I'm actually not even sure she cared). But, I wish I had told her that more often. I totally won the parent lottery which, of course, I realized after they were both dead.

Happy belated birthday! Here's my question(s). Are there hobbies or other things that were very important to you when you were younger that you lost interest in when you got older? Are there things you got into when you got older that you never thought you'd be interested in when you were younger?
