I do not need any more clothes for any reason self made or bought - none for summer, none for winter, none for in between. None at all. None. The closets have spoken.

Everything is now washed and dried and put away with the new reorg. I like it. And, now, lots of empty space. I even have a drawer that's empty. Sweet.

In education news, my Fitbit is finally going to teach me to tell 24 hour time and temperatures in Celsius. Heck, on the time part, I'm halfway there! It's only after lunch that it starts getting hard. I found a nice watch face that is simple and attractive and gives me the info.

And all the while, the Mariners who were sadly trailing by a healthy amount for most of the game, have now come from behind and are one out away from winning.

Pretty spectacular day here, for sure.

And, they just won. Very nice.

Guess what! We are totally twinning in the temperature ground today. It’s 10c here too! Ha!

I rather like celsius. 0 degrees is too cold to survive without winter gear. Also, water freezes. 10 degrees is pretty cold, but you can probably make do if you find a blanket and a wind break. 20 degrees is room temperature. 30 degrees is too hot for most Europeans, but fairly tolerable in summer clothes. 40 degrees is getting too hot to survive without water and shelter.

Once you get into cooking temperatures i'm not sure it matters which metric you take, since the space between them is larger anyway.

Anyway, there was a stupid internet fight about this recently on some website i read, and someone said "learning celsius is easy, you just switch the digits!"

82F = 28C
61F = 16C
40F = 04C

And for a moment it seems incredibly smart, until you realize it's literally only those three numbers where it works.

Is 24 hour time not a thing there? We use it all the time here

I grew up with Fahrenheit as Australia didn't switch to Celsius until I was in my early 20s, but I had to relearn it when I moved here. I now try to always think in both so that I won't forget either. I once got told off by my 40 year old son in law (half jokingly) when I said it was 100ºF instead of 38ºC because he was born after the switch.
