Good News Bad News

susandennisI fiddled around with what I could reach on the bed, which was flat when I started. The head is now halfway up and the foot position is all the way up. And I cannot get it to budge. I even managed to scrape skin off the palm of my hand. A very unhandy place to have a booboo actually.
After a not unpleasant wait on hold with the bed manufacturer - whose number I dug out of an hold email and was delighted to hear they are not dead yet... I got the name and the number of a person who could fix the bed.
Gary in Kent. I called Gary. He had a puppy and a dog and they were out of control and he was almost home, could he call me right back? Sure. When he called back, he sounded like schedule was the only issue. He said he had a big install job today that might get complicated but it was very near me so when he was done, he'd try to get here. If not today, then the next opportunity would be next week. At the end of the conversation, after I explained that the bed was no longer flat and would not budge, he sounded like he might get here.
If not, it's going to be a few days of sleeping on the couch. Not the worst problem ever, just annoying.
Interestingly, Gary's company is Washington Athletic Repair, Inc. If my treadmill was still broken...
And so begins the day of wait and hope.
Also this is the first day of short sleeved top in 2021 - at least for me.
