Birthday Answers

What is your favorite memory?
That's kind of a tough one because I have lots of amazing memories.
My two trips to New Zealand in the 90's hold a lot of wonderful and fun memories. My parents found a great two week trip and asked me to go along and I asked my friend, John (whom they had never met - so could have gone horribly wrong). The four of us had a fabulous time. We drove all over the North Island and a lot of the South Island and saw and did wonderful things. It was just fun from beginning to end. John and I particularly loved New Zealand so the next year, we went back - just the two of us and saw all the places we didn't see the first time. Plus some. Daddy died about four years later. John died about four years after that and Mom died in 2005. So I actually treasure those memories even more now that I'm the only one left.
But honestly, one of my greatest memories is my 70th birthday when my brother and his son and his son's wife all came to Seattle and we went to Mariner games and there was a great cake!
